Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Gentlemen:
From the program of the Philharmonic-Sym-
phony Society
of New York for October twenty-first
and twenty-second, I noticed that the orchestra
material, Schoenberg Five Orchestral Pieces was
loaned to the Philharmonic Society through your
courtesy.
I found out that the orchestra parts were
copied by you and that the orchestra received photo-
static copies. I would appreciate it if you would
advise me as to who gave you the right to copy, to
photostat, and to rent out one of my publications.
An early reply would be appreciated so
that I can decide to whom rental and performance
fees of these two performances should be charged.
I am sending a copy of this letter to
the composer.
Very truly yours,

C. F. PETERS CORPORATION
