Dear Mr Hinrichsen:
Several weeks ago I sent you all the material for the
new version of the Five Orchestra Pieces. You have received
the package, but you have not answered. What’s the matter?
Will you do it, or do you refuse? I must know this, because
I don’t want this piece so long out of the market. Is is
one of my most important compositions, and it must be avail-
able to all orchestras.
I am sure we could come to an arrangement, but you have once
to speak to me and to tell me your opinion.
I possess a set of parts, if you are embarrassed by not
having one, and I would be ready to make photostatic or
microfilm copies of it for you.
I am looking forward to your answer, and am
Most cordially yours,
R.H.
